Must all relationships lead to marriage?

Happy new working week friends, guess the hangovers and late nights during the weekend is finally over and the endless traffic, air and noise pollution from automobiles and our countless generators are here again (especially if you are in Lasgidi). Pammie's Crib is here again so sit tight friends and lets talk.

Over the past years and months, I have heard varying reasons why people date or are in a relationship. From the obscene to the laughable and back to the proper. I find myself laughing till I cry at some and I feel from pity to outright anger at the others. Must all relationships lead to marriage?

I have heard accounts of ladies saying how they are ready to date a guy believing that marriage will be the end of the road. And I ask, what if on the course of dating him, you notice some character flaws, won't you end the relationship? Or would you end up marrying such a man and suffer in future? This is also applicable to the guys too. Would you marry a lady you aint compatible with?
There are indeed some signs that you see while in a relationship which will make you have a rethink about it, but what I don't get is why still stay in it when those signs are so obvious, and you knowing fully well that you can't live with that person?

True, dating has become a fad, a right of passage for every adult. But, some people are busy dating every new person a week, all in the name of testing new grounds. Abi the lady na soup? You dey do trial and error, na transistor radio the guy be?  Do you stay in a relationship where there is no head way just for the fun of it. Na football?

I'm a firm believer that not all dating must lead to marriage, but I won't hop from one date to another just to prove that. Some ladies and a few guys believe in marrying the one person they first dated, believing it is true love, good for them. Others don't see it as so, if we hang out and we do date, it's not automatic that I marry you? It isn't written in stone.
Hey, I may be wrong, so correct me if I am. So dear friends, must all relationships lead to marriage? Let's chat biko.

  1. Nah nah, all relationship shouldn't lead to marriage. When I was dating my first guy, I thought we were going to end up married, I loved him with everything LOLZ...Now I know better

you need more than love to proceed into marriage. #My2kobo

  2. If you don't find what you want in the other person, you don't have to force yourself to remain in such relationship and there is a limit to what you can change about someone.

Left to me, if you are sure that is who you wanna be with, I see no reason why it shouldn't lead to marriage except otherwise!!!

No ma. If that were so, the cases of divorces will be over the roof.

  4. Not all relationship should lead to the altar, sometimes people are better off as friends than marriage

  5. That's not even possible, but I wish there was an app or something you could use to sniff out time wasters, I'd patent it in a jiffy & the ladies would come running to buy. I'd be rich as bill gates in no time, hehehe. I wish!
