Tantrum Thursday!!!

Another Thursday, another punching walls with words. Today, like over the past weeks have been dedicated as "Tantrum Thursday", a day to vent our anger over the week in words (heard its therapeutic).

This week, I lost valuable data on my system as it crashed and sent me to tears (I'm still crying). All the time, energy, lady-power, all gone, poof, vamoose. E pain me eh!


Days ago, I came home to find that while everyone else on my street had light, yours truly and another house were the victims of a blow out. No light! I watched helplessly as bulbs shone brightly in other compounds as I sat, laid and slept in utter and silent darkness. This occurred for two days in a row. The agony na die!! Having to sleep in the heat and darkness when everyone was using PHCN was bad, having to be asked "what's wrong with your light " is worse. As you start to describe the little you know while they look at you with pity and their ocassional "kpele" and "sorry" , and the next question would be "have you called or notified an electrician or PHCN" ? In anger and sarcasm, I replied one "I called the welder, said he is coming" and walked away while she stood with a question mark hovering over her head.

The irony of it all is that, those two days, it seems PHCN had forgotten how to take light. I would go to work and come back to still see light in other compounds and be told how good NEPA abi na PHCN has been. Hmmmm. As expected, when the "blowout" in my compound was repaired, our noble PHCN, reverted back to their off schedule, Mtcheww. God help us.

Angry that I haven't gotten my share of freebies in the form of cash (dollars and pounds especially) rice, salt, sugar, vegetable oil (ororo), chicken etc. Please, if anyone knows where they are sharing kindly tell me biko, my rice don dey finish. Your share awaits you too. Still vexing for that driver that made me fall down earlier dis week. My leg still hurts, mtchww. All in all, I'm thankful for LIFE. Baba God, "TWALE".
