GUEST POST: My boyfriend is obsessed with lesbians.

Pam, well done with your work, May God give you lots of wisdom. Amen.
Now, to my story. I've been dating this broke ass guy for a year plus now. What haven't I done for him?

Anyway, sometime last year I noticed that he had two 2go accounts where he pretends to be a girl and then do all these lesbian stuff with the lesbian girls. I got furious, then he begged and asked me to change the passwords to something he doesn't know. I did. Somehow, he opened another account too, gosh! I was really pissed. Is this guy possessed or something? Checked his phone the other day and I saw lesbian porn. Who does that?

What is MARRIAGE without SHARING?

Every marriage brings about two different and distinct people to be as one, irrespective of race, religion, creed, affiliation, nationality, etc. The man/husband as head of the home has the wife/ mother as the home maker.

Nowadays, its common to see both couple work and striving to meet the needs of the family especially in the economy/society we find ourselves in. Gone are those days of "housewife" except your husband is super-rich, Lolz, or maybe unemployment. In most cases, wives are even earning more than their husbands now, I know a few that does.

THE DIARY.

It was a 5am Saturday morning, was walking to my house after an exciting night out with friends. It was an all-night and damn, I was tired, needed to crash on my bed.

Been calling the cell-phone of the aboki that guides our gate, but no response. I wondered why he didn't pick his call even after calling him severally cos I had told him last night before leaving for the club that I'll call him to open the gate for me when I return. I called him again, still no response. Then I remembered that he was  probably observing his morning session of prayers.
"These Muslims and their prayers" I muttered out of frustration.

The weather was so cold which was odd, because lately the heat could roast a person, and my skimpy wear was not good for the weather .
"Mtcheww, which kind cold is this sef" I sighed.

Today has finally come. A day Nigeria stands still ( no waka anyhow) and Nigerians go to the poll to elect a new or re-elect a president that will rule us for the next four years. Hope you guys did go to do your civic duties? Don't ask what I did.(Hahaha).

Counting down...

With less than a day to the presidential elections, the impending election seems to be the most talked about topic on social media, in buses, newspaper stands and bus stops not excluded.

Tantrum Thursday!!!

Another Thursday, another punching walls with words. Today, like over the past weeks have been dedicated as "Tantrum Thursday", a day to vent our anger over the week in words (heard its therapeutic).

This week, I lost valuable data on my system as it crashed and sent me to tears (I'm still crying). All the time, energy, lady-power, all gone, poof, vamoose. E pain me eh!

Why do men CHEAT?

Most often than not, issues talked about on this page are women based, today, we turn the tables and talk about the men.
Couple of weeks ago, a street friend of mine came crying and upon asking what the problem was, she said she caught her husband cheating on her. Now, this isn't new, cases of a partner cheating isn't the news anymore. As she talked and cried in between talking, I wanted to know how the other lady looks like, maybe it was the physical attributes like the "Ukwu" and "bobby" the guy found irresistible. Mind you, my friend here is endowed in the right places and if beauty is a physical thing, she is it.

Political Freebies.

Have you gotten your bag of rice yet?
Sorry I had to start this post with such a question, I just had to. Over the past weeks and months, political parties have been wooing the electorates (like me and you) with gifts of rice, vegetable oil (ororo) etc. As much as I'm neutral when it comes to political matters, who said I'm not entitled to freebies? Last I checked, private citizens too have joined in the sharing of such largesse.

Pammie's Crib Face of the week.

O yea, its another new week, and who do we have as our face of the week? Meet lovely, beautiful, pweetty, asa-nwa, ehmm, if i have another I'll add later, Lolz. So meet Ibuo Ada Vivienne, a final year Philosophy student of IMO state University. She is a jovial person, and guess what.... she loves making new friends (did you hear that? I did oo, biko I need new female friends, still hunting for more. Lolz)

Do you know what else is awesome, this beauty is SINGLEEEE. Guyz in da house where are you biko? Hope you know the drill shaaa, I love playing cupid only for a good course and serious minded people ooo. Good. See more of her lovely pictures after the cut...

Weekend wahala.

Happy Sunday my dearies, how has your day been so far? Remain blessed people.
My apologies to you all cos THE MASK won't be coming in today. Something happened yesterday and I lost a lot of files, when I say a lot, I mean A LOT, and The Mask wasn't spared either. I no fit cry, I no fit laugh. As at this moment I don't even know what or how to feel, all I'm thinking about right now is to get those documents back. Hmmm, it's well with me.

Love and Fart.

Yesterday evening I went out to chill with "the guys" (yes nah, after the ever stressful week, the night out was necessary). Three of us rode alongside with Jim in his car, so on our way, we heard a loud noise, if you didn't know it, you'll think it was the tire that busted. Hmmm, that loud noise actually came out from Chima's butt, he farted.  Some people may have taken offense on this especially since he didn't apologize but NO we all laughed it out.

Ladies and Heels.

Heels! Heels!! Heels!!! I love them cos they make you look smart especially when you can walk on it (I think). At work, occasions, Wow! so lovely. I have a couple of heels but I've learnt my lesson the hard way, coupled with my mums stern warnings about the side effects of heels on your waist, I've decided to stick to my flat shoes. I also once fell on my heels down the stairs, and my leg was swollen for a week, since then, I stuck to my flats.

TANTRUM Thursday!!!

Welcome again to our "Tantrum Thursday". Over the past 7 days, a lot of things and people have angered me and this is the medium where I vent my anger in words as I can't use fists(lol). Ok, I don't have much tantrums today, but I'm angry. Angry that my "I pass my neighbor" generator has finally "knocked", and the mechanic no get mind shaa, he's asking me to bring 6k for it's repairs. 6k cha? In this hard economy? Instead of me to give him 6k for it's repairs, why shouldn't I just add some money to it and then get myself a new one.

God Bless our MOTHERS.

This is a post belated "Mother's day" message. Infact, mothers should not have a day to be celebrated, there should be a year of no work, just sit on the couch, no cooking, no chores, no "Womanly" duties. This should be made to give value to our mothers and women, they should only sit back and be spoilt silly with gifts and all. Even Tupac knew the value of his mother when he sang "Dear Mama".

GUEST POST: How can I tell my girlfriend to dump her boyfriend?

Hi Pam, wuddup (lol). Nice one, you have here. Keep it balling. Well here's my gist. I have this yeye friend that can talk more than a parrot. She indeed can talk for Africa. She's been dating this guy for 4 years now and she thinks it's leading to the altar, but the thing is, this guy has confidently told my husband that he won't marry her, that he's just catching his fun with her and wen his tired, he'll kick her ass out. Though my husband has tried to convince him to marry her but he refused with the excuse that she's not wife material.

CONDUCTOR, give me my CHANGE !!!

OK, let's talk about Naija conductors especially these conductors in Lagos, their own is too much joor. I don tire for their matter.

I began the day like every normal day, entered a bus like every Lagosian without a car, which yours truly is among (not for long In Jesus Name, Amen.) I boarded a bus plying my route to work and paid for my fare with a thousand Naira. Asked for my change, like a lady once said we should ask our conductors for our change, Lol. The conductor said I should wait that he doesn't have yet, I shouted and still waited.

Pammie's Crib FACE of the WEEK.

Yippy, finally we now have a face of the week after much waiting and waiting, so dear friends I'll like to introduce you to:
Agbara Reginald Ugochukwu who is a native of Abia State and currently the Technical Head of Operations Marshal International Contractors Ltd, where he has been working prior to his graduation. He received his Bachelor of Science in Statistics at Abia State University, Uturu.

THE MASK pt2

Stella woke up with a start. How long did she pass out? Minutes, hours or even days? Where was she? Slowly, it all came back. A silhouette,a tattoo, now she remembers. Tears come streaming down freely from her eyes. She sobs and then wails without sounds. Her mind swirls and churns. The numbness gives way to guilt and then shame. The realization that someone breached her security and raped her in her very home is devastating. Go to the police station and report, her head tell her. Who will believe her? She feels dirty. As she tries to stand, her knees buckle and she fell. She feels weak. "Oh God! Why me?" She says in between tears.
"What do I do now? Who should I tell that I'm a victim of rape? How will I overcome the stigma that comes with it? Oh God!" Stella sobs louder

Saturday "OWAMBE".

Every Saturday, lots of ladies (Including guys) are ready to hit one wedding or another. Decked and regaled in the latest fashion. As for me, I'm not a wedding person, can count on one hand how many weddings I have attended. Mum don shout tire, "Ugochi, learn to attend people's weddings so that they will attend yours too". So does it mean if I don't go to their weddings then they wont attend mine? Hmmmm, I wonder the crowd I will need to hire for my wedding (lol).

TGI-Kpomo Day. Lol.

A while back, I was minding my own business ooo. Saw a lady in the market, this was when our Federal government deemed it fit to ban the one thing that is a special delicacy to many Nigerian homes, "kpomo". This caused an uproar. How can something so cheap and affordable, not a card carrying member of any party be banned? We have been eating it for decades!!! Na so the lady vex spark, "........if we cannot to see kpomo buy, wetin again we go chop?" "First dem say na ebola dey, make we no chop bushmeat, we hear and fear catch us, now na kpomo. Which kin thing be this, na lizard we go chop?"

TANTRUM Thursday is here!!!

Yes, I'm angry. Why wouldn't I be? A hungry man is an angry man. Though, I may eat twice a day, I'm still hungry. Hungry to see a better me, a better tomorrow. Hungry to see my refuse bins picked up every week as stipulated and not once in a month while I endure the repugnant smell everyday, hungry to see the electricity I pay for and not have to rely on generator.

VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD.

This lovely lady Lohla Windfall nominated me recently for the Versatile Blogger award, and she blogs at marriedinph.blogspot.com. Thanks a bunch for the nomination dearie.

Facts about me:

1. I am a movie freak. Can watch movie the whole day and the whole night especially series. I doubt if you can beat me on that.

2. I am so lazy at exercising. But when I start I'm so dedicated at it until I loose interest.

Politicking in Naija.

As much as I hate politics and what it stands for in Nigeria, I certainly do love my country. Over the past months, prior to the cancellation of the February 14th elections, I have been a keen "siddon look-er" of the political drama that unfolds every day on every media platform known to man. Mind you, yours truly isn't a card waving member of any political party, unless you call me SLP (siddon look party), I observe the candidates and not the party, then I go for someone I feel will perform better.

GUEST POST: Please advice.

Dear Pamela, as much as am not an avid reader nor a constant commentor on ur blog, I have to admire your work, keep it up. Kindly publish this post cos I am a bit confused at the moment.

My name is Tina, am in my late 20's and am really in love with this guy am dating. We have been dating steady for the past eight months without incident, I have met his parents and he has met mine. I think he is The One.

My problem started two weeks ago, I noticed that he has started getting comfy with an ex he told me about. She has been calling him like crazy and the chats are worse. I stumbled on his chat with her and saw her begging to come back. Instead of an outright NO, he was dilly dallying . Yes, I snooped cos I was beginning to feel insecure. Should I confront him or wait to see what happens?

**** My dearie, as much as I prefer confrontation straight ahead, I wouldn't know if other people do too. Nonetheless, lay low for like a week or so, watch him closely to notice anything irregular and unbecoming, then you can confront him. If you can't wait, then ask him politely what's going on with his ex. Goodluck dear.**** Biko bv's, let's advice her better. Cheers.

Must all relationships lead to marriage?

Happy new working week friends, guess the hangovers and late nights during the weekend is finally over and the endless traffic, air and noise pollution from automobiles and our countless generators are here again (especially if you are in Lasgidi). Pammie's Crib is here again so sit tight friends and lets talk.

Over the past years and months, I have heard varying reasons why people date or are in a relationship. From the obscene to the laughable and back to the proper. I find myself laughing till I cry at some and I feel from pity to outright anger at the others. Must all relationships lead to marriage?

THE MASK !

Fear! Fear!! Fear!!! Breathtaking, chest pounding, blood chilling. With her heart in her mouth, she knew she heard a noise, where it came from, she doesn't know. Trying to clear the cobweb of sleep from her eyes, she  looked at the clock on her bedside table, 3am; and then she heard the same sound again. Grrrr. Hummm, Thud. Now, she knows it wasn't a dream.

The sound is in here, in her house, and not a figment of her imagination. In one reaction, she stands from the bed, wraps her wrapper tightly to her chest and tentatively, tries to identify where the sound is coming from. By reflex, she makes the sign of the cross and a silent prayer escapes her lips.

Happy Sunday Friends.

Procrastination.

Procrastination is indeed the thief of time. Oh, who hasn't fallen prey to this yet? Hmmm, I've been a victim too. For example, I kept on procrastinating on starting this blog all through last year, found myself in December 31st and still I hadn't started it yet, felt so bad about it. Finally, on the 6th of January I took that bold step and Pammie's Crib was born. Yes, there was some form of fear and discouragement but here I am today.

Isn't it awesome that what started just yesterday is now 2 months old. Wow! All glory be to God. Its still not easy but it has so far been a blast; wonderful pageviews, sweet, the comments though have been nice too but my friends, your comments encourage me to do more, (whispering) they turn me ON, Lol.

My Boarding School Experience.

Most of us were priviledged to attend boarding schools for our secondary learning experience, we left family and friends, to an unknown world, a new world. It wasn't easy oooo. My experiences as a boarder was more bitter than sweet.

Yes, boarding school helps inculcate some values, like sanitation, discipline, teaches self dependency, the "housechild" you were would be broken; where you run to mummy and daddy at whim. Mind you, boarding school is no vacation like I assumed in my child mind. Had to wake by 5, do chores for self and a host of seniors, get ready for school, be punished for one offence or two and still attend classes and back. In my young mind, I wondered if anything could be worse? (Now I know better).

Does Love have a price-tag?

Long ago, before the advent of  airtime, Brazilian hair, BB Porshe, Gucci bags and Ferrari's, love still existed
Our parents were privileged to love wholeheartedly, the age long mantra of "till death do you part" was alive and couples believed in such vows.
The question is, does true love really exist? Loving without holding back, without hoping to cash in or believing that there is a reward for your love?

The Park Incident.

Have you ever been in a situation whereby something happens and you'll be like, what just happened now? Anyway, here goes: Two years ago, I was traveling to the east and boarded Chisco. Unfortunately, that morning I had this bad purging wahala, but still insisted on traveling with it (bad condition), though I tried to control it with my flagil tablet.

Fuel Palava

Is it only me or has the current fuel scarcity hit you too? My dearies, nawaoo. I woke up days ago and noticed that a few of the filling stations near my house were open but weren't selling fuel. I thought nothing of it until I went to get small fuel to service my "I pass my neigbour" generator. Hmmm, the queue that greeted me was more than the ones at the BRT stands, fear catch me.

Lagos nawa!

Lagos nawa, what doesn't happen in this city of ours? I'll like to share something interestin with you guyz. Wait for it, ok here goes. I went to visit a family friend at the berger area of Lagos sometime last year, was carried away with the company and before I knew it, it was already past 6pm, so I left.

On getting to the bustop with another friend of mine, we had to wait for a bus to our destination along side a large queue of pple also waiting. Any bus dat comes will be welcomed by a rush of people, and ajebutter like me (shines teeth, Lol), I dislike rushing. Minutes later, a bus stopped infront of us, the pushin started again, and immediately I felt robbed, checked in my side bag, fiam, my phone was gone,
