Every now and then in our lives, we need, scratch that, we WANT a hug, a kind word, a kiss, a look that says "all is well". Life ain't fair, we weren't born with a handbook guiding us on how to live. A certain quote I read, said " we don't decide who our parents are, but we choose our friends".
Friends; many have seen us through our most difficult situations, stood by us, held our hands, gave us a good shoulder to lean on, for them, we are grateful.
As the new week starts, may our friends never turn their backs on us, may they always be there when we need them most, and most importantly, may we be friends to those who need us too. Be a friend today, cry with someone, share, give, smile and laugh with someone. You never know how that small act of kindness will go. Which life you have added colour to, saved, given hope to. May we be the best to ourselves and to others. Amen.
Amen.. I think that is what existence is all about.
