Fight over who???

Happy Saturday lovelies and how was your Friday night? Hope the coffee this morning did help, for those who went clubbing (lol). And for us that still have to go to work, even on Saturday's, it's well with our souls.  Man must wack abi? Things we do to survive.
 

Today's post is as a result of an incident that occurred a few days ago in my area, where a lady had a fight with another lady over a guy. The irony is that both gals were friends (don't know if after the fight, they will still remain friends) and the guy was just standing in a corner, a smirk on his face and feeling all good with  himself. He is the prize that the gals are competing for. As I looked at him, I personally felt like going over to punch his face.And our gals no dey try at all shaa. When lots of guys abound, why fight? And don't guys have a code or something? Aren't your girlfriend's friends' off limit?

I remember back then in school, a gal called and threatened me over the phone cos of a guy. Threatened to pour me acid and blablabla if I don't leave her man alone. For the record,  I had no prior idea on the existence of this girl nor did I know that the guy hitting on me was seeing her.

I confronted the guy but he denied knowing anything about her. Somehow, I later caught them in a compromising position, don't ask me how, cos that will be a story for another day. Apart from that, I didn't want to hang around to find out if she was bluffing or the threat was real, I took a bold walk. There are many fishes in the ocean mehn. I love my face the way it is, thank you. I don't need an acidic face-lift biko. Some girl asked why can't I fight for my man, I answered, "that's not fighting for my man, it's fighting over a man, and there's a huge difference between both."(story for another day too).
 

Dear ladies, before you start fighting over a guy think twice, and to the guys before you start fighting with a guy over a gal, think about your life. What if something ugly happens during the course of the fight, wetin you go talk? Heard of a guy who accidentally killed another guy during a fight cos of a girl, the guy is suffering the repercussions in jail. So be wise, there are so many fishes in the ocean. Do have a wonderful weekend dearies.
