Tantrum Thursday!!!

Hiya dearies, how are you all doing? As for me, I've not been feeling to well and it's affecting my Vacation. Hmm, catarrh, cough, gbogbo e (hope I spelled it well). See me that's scared of drugs, swallowing it like water. Nawaoo. I'm healed in Jesus name, Amen.

Today is our tantrum Thursday, so what's that thing that angered you this week, you should pour it out here and walk away relieved.

My own tantrum is for this cold to leave me oo, I can't spend my leave indoor and shaking. I know I'll be better soon shaa.
The bus zoomed off without the driver giving me my change again. I blame myself though for getting down before he could give it to me. I just stood with my outstretched hand waiting for my change, before I could say "Jack", the driver zoomed off. Can you imagine? What if the change was the only cash I relied on to get to my destination? God is watching them all.

So how has your week been so far? Anything you need to tell us? We are all ears.

Cry against rape!!!

Over the past weeks, the incessant reports and incidents of rape has been on the increase. I read a pathetic story recently about a five year old being raped by a forty-five year old man. Pls help me ask, what is in the body of a five year old girl? No greater justice would be as fair than the cutting of the penis of any man convicted of rape. Many men as a defence, would name the devil as the instigator and one that coerced them to doing the crime. Na the devil close your ears to that girl's plea and cries?

Many women have been known to have a bull's eye on their body saying "I'm for the taking". Their clothing or lack of it acts like a calling card to any would-be rapist. In as much as I tell ladies to dress decently cos of these insane people, that doesn't make them marked to be raped? No woman wants to be raped. The mental trauma is not even wished on my worst enemy.

I went to a birthday party for a six year old and I was shocked at what I saw. Little girls were wearing skimpy skirts that would make a priest blush. I overheard a girl singing the chorus to a Wizkid's song,"...I want your body sleeping in my bed". Haba!! what body kwa!! Please, paedophiles exist, parents should be mindful of the clothes they put on their kids. These maniacs feeds their dirty minds on those things.

Yes, times have changed and children ain't babies anymore. Is that enough reason for them to be raped? Yes their clothes and "swag" bespoke of maturity, but under those linen, an innocent child resides, scared, fragile and dependent on us as adults to protect, guide and guard them. When we do the opposite, how do we want them to trust us? Its time we take our kids as what they are, kids. Let's protect them, let rape and rapist pay dearly for crimes against not only the child, but against children and humanity. Thank God for the bill about to the passed, let these rapists be punished dearly. I have said my mind.

Second chances in Love.

Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.” ~ Anaïs Nine

I had the above topic in mind but I needed inspiration to start it up. While still waiting for that to surface, I decided to go through all my favourite blogs. In Amaka media's blog, I was going through these love quotes from yesterday's post and there and then, the above quote gave me the inspiration I so needed.

Sunday dish!!!

Happy Sunday sweeries, waddup? Shey una go church shaa? May God's continual blessings be showered upon us. Amen.

Below are some words of encouragement and strength that can help in bad times. Look at how words are. When nothing seems to be resolvable, words can bring hope, when times seem difficult, words can restore courage and when life poses a problem on every step, encouraging words give the impetus to fight back. Be encouraged.

Tuesday random.

Good day my dear Pamscribers, hope today is serving you better. Over the past week or so, I have been extremely busy and I must confess, I haven't been giving you my best, you have been deprived of your normal dose(s) of me. For this, I'm truly sorry. I hope to make it all up to you, may not be today, but I sure will. Please keep on viewing Pammie's Crib.

Today's tale is one which many of us have been told in our younger years.

In the land of the animals, many years ago, the Hare and the Tortoise had an argument who was the fastest and decided to put it to test by a race. The Hare sprinted off from the starting line and had kept a sizeable distance from the Tortoise and he decided to rest awhile. Only for him to wake up and realise that while he was asleep, the Tortoise had crossed the finish line.
The moral, "Slow and steady wins the race".
This is the version many of us were told and taught. Now, a continuation has emerged. It goes like this.

As the Hare realised he had lost, he became furious and called for a rematch which the Tortoise accepted. The hare now trained harder and on the race day, ran all the way without stopping till he got to the finish line. He waited for hours before the tortoise slowly trudged across the finish line.

The moral from this, is for you to grasp. Like in many Nollywood movies where a part three or season three is normal, same here.

Now this is another piece.
And during these times, both competitors have become friends and another race has been decided to know a champion. The terrain is different. A day is set.

The race starts and as usual, the Hare hops off, leaving the Tortoise to lag behind. He reaches a spot where a stream flows across. Remembering the Tortoise behind, he goes back and carries the Tortoise to where the stream is. The Tortoise calls out to his cousin, the Turtle who ferries both of them one at a time across the stream. On the other side, both competitors now cross the finish line together.
Moral: we all need one another.

Let us all try to give a helping hand to someone, smile, share love, you never know who your smile today will save and repay you with a hug tomorrow. Be safe and lots of e-kisses and e-hugs to you all.

Please, Tuesday's are supposed to be Guest post day. Kindly send in your guest post so we will continue the trend. Thanks and Cheers.

Men and cheating.

Appy Saturday my lovelies, waddup? Ok, I was going through all the blogs I've missed in the past week while thinking about what to write today, then I stumbled upon a discussion on men cheating and how it's not a big deal. Scrolling through the comments, some people where really capitalising on how men cheating isn't a big deal and how it's a man's world and how the society has made it so, I just shook my head in disbelief, but bam I got my inspiration for this post.

To the guys, please forgive me in advance cos I may be on the attack here. Lolz. Also kindly note that I'm not in support of anyone cheating.

The question is, what's the difference between when a guy cheats and when a woman cheats? What's the justification there if the guy is allowed to cheat?

I once overheard a man saying that he can cheat as much as he likes and doesn't care if his woman knows about it, but if he dares catches her cheating, she's out of his house for good, cos she's a disgrace. She is a disgrace right? Then what are you supposed to be called, saying your vows but end up pulling your shorts for any Jane, Pat, and Sandra you see. Do you ever think that the same feeling you get when you find out that your wife cheated on you is the same feeling she gets when she knows you are cheating on her, even worse.

Most women bear their men cheating, and the painful part is some of these men don't even care to hide it or even get protected only to end up infecting their innocent wife if not worse. Some women receives calls and threats from these so called mistresses, but they still stay in that marriage deep in tears. And there they tell me it's a man's world. Some woman believe in tit for tat. It's not as if they can't cheat but they have their pride to protect and it isn't right. Believe me, you men may think you can cheat and never be caught, a woman can too, so stop giving me that shit of "its a man's world" and the society has made it so. Women just tend to turn a blind eye towards certain things.

Yes you guys are polygamous in nature, what was allowed was for you to marry as many as you can if your belief approves it, that is different from cheating, instead your want to eat your cake and have it. What a shame.
Yes again, some men say the ladies are the temptress who seduce them into cheating, but the truth is there is actually a word called "NO".

Salute to the faithful men and women out there, especially the men, God bless you all. To the cheaters, think about your wife and turn a new leave please. Stop seeing our ignorance as stupidity and do the right thing.
Una well done oo and do have a blast.

Biko,  where una run go? Pammie's Crib is back with a bang. Please come back abeg.  Lolz.

Inspiration Poem.

Good morning dearies, hope you are all doing great. I stumbled on this beautiful poem and it really spoke to me, so I'm sharing with you all. Be inspired.

Focus!
The only thing you really need. .'Focus'. . All else will follow. .
My dear mind, what do you seek
Stay still for a while and look inside
For the peace you seek
Is within your own reach
You feel weighed down by the past
Disappointments, regrets and guilt
Why keep clinging to the unchangeable
Let go of it and feel feather light
Cease the flow of thoughts
Concentrate at a point
Visualize a placid lake
Undisturbed by the flow of time
Focus on this moment
That's all you need to do
Snap back into this very moment
That's all that you need to concentrate upon
We can't go back and change anything
But we make a different future
If only we focus on giving
All that we have got into 'Now'

Inspiration Breakfast.

Good morning my lovely Pamscribers, hope you all slept well? Let us all dwell on these quotes and be motivated.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

"Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you." - Aldous Huxley

"When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us." - Alexander Graham Bell

"Between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series of obstacles, and the bigger the goal, the bigger the obstacles. Your decision to be, have and do something out of the ordinary entails facing difficulties and challenges that are out of the ordinary as well. Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else." - Brian Tracy

"If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down." - Mary Pickford

''Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.'' -Deuteronomy 31:6

Remain inspired dearies. I'm sorry that I haven't been updating you on the afternoon posts. Something is really taking my time and I've been soo busy, but I'll try my best to put up the updates. Don't worry, I'll update you all later on what is making me really busy. #winks. Do takia dearies.
