TBT/ Tantrum Thursday.

Good morning my lovelies, I'm sure most of you would be surprised to see this early morning post. Well, I worked over night at work and I'm sapped. Infact, when I get home, I'm so having a long sleep, which unfortunately will be cut short cos I have to run an errand for mum. Hmmm, can I just magically turn into a princess living in a big mansion/castle right now?

AS THE TALES TOLD!!!

She had the most pleasant smile

But tears kept running down my face

I knew where I was headed

They all had spoken of it

Our captors had the most enticing smile

But we eventually headed for our death

Painful was the death the tales told

The car was air-conditioned

Just like my Home

I begged God to let me live

But this was it

She had a beautiful compound

A beautiful Home

Well-decorated kitchen

Where were the kids?

Then I spotted the picture frame

Her and a man alone

No kids

No baby bump

Seemed they were newly married

Soon as the cold breeze blew

I slept

I felt pushed and woke

I was being taken to the sitting room

My heart beat faster

Tears dropped

My end was feets away

Didn’t know death was this scary

At the couch seated the man in the frame

He smiled as she approached

She smiled back

Kissed Him

Then sat on Him

Turn by turn

Holes were gored into my flesh

I was in excruciating pains

My screaming fell on deaf ears

As the tales told

The dying memory

Was always the smiling face

I smiled back

Then took my last breath.

 #Presumed thoughts of an apple.

Guest-Post : Confused if "he is the one".

Dear Pammie's Crib, I am an on and off reader of your blog. I do like your writing style and I congratulate you , it isn't easy writing at all. I just want to use this medium to ask for your opinion.

I am a lady of twenty five years old, currently dating (we would be eight months old by month end). I really do love the guy, he promised marriage (like most guys do). The thing is, how do I know "he is the one"?

Is eight months enough time to take the plunge? We disagree about the no. of kids to have, he wants two, I want more, he isn't really a kid lover , ironically, I am. I love babies, I love children. His Christian life is floundering and that's of concern to me. If he is the one, how will I know? A sign, something to know would do me good. I Have been praying. What do you think?

***Please fam, let us help this poster out with what we do best***
The Lord direct your part dear.

God is always on time.

I read a quote the other day and it stumped me, it said "whatever God does is not for you to understand, but for you to accept". Just then, I knew I am guilty of questioning God. Like a kid in Christmas, expecting gifts from Father Christmas, anything less than what I prayed, wanted and dreamt about isn't good enough. It's either what I want or nothing. Simple.

Constructive Criticisms only.

It's Friday, yippee!!! Hope your week has been blessed so far? Well, mine so far so good, has been OK. I thank God for that.

So, I was going through my posts and peeped at my page views, Chai! It was heartbreaking. Not encouraging at all. I know how my page views used to be prior to now but looking at it now can make me have a heart attack. In fact, I'm already heart broken seriously, just wanna let you guyz know.

I also want to ask the good people of this blog, biko what am I not doing right? Please, don't hide anything from me. Just go on all out and say it. I don't want to here things like "Pam, you are doing a great job, just keep it up". If I was doing a great job, my page views won't be this low.

This is a constructive criticism post. Tell me what you feel and help me get a solution. Suggest what should be done to improve and be better.

One thing with running this kinda blog, is that the things posted here all come from you and your brain. It's not copied and pasted from anywhere. It's all you. So you see, anything can make you loose concentration, interest and focus. You may be writing and a slight distraction will make you forget what you initially wanted to write.

So I need you my friends to get me back to track. Help me make this blog and myself better. Tell me what's on your mind. Please, I'm free today and the only thing I'll be doing is to stare at my inbox awaiting your responses.

Thank you.
From a heartbroken Pamela. #sobs.

Topicless post.

Over the past couple of weeks and months, everywhere you go to, cries of cash crunch evade our ears. Some people blame it on the new administration , while others heap blame on the GEJ's administration. Whatever the case, we will survive.

I don't really love reading or watching the news, mostly because the news freak me out. Whenever I read or watch about an ex governor or ex-minister allegedly looting billions of naira! I cringe!!! Wetin him wan do with that kind of money? Even his grand kids won't smell poverty. But come to think of it, what do people with such money eat? Akara and pap, jellof rice , pounded yam and egusi, what kind of food do people worth billions eat? Lol. If you do know, pls do tell me.

Abeg, these people should fear God oo, cos God is watching all of them.

Still on the Linda Ikeji's matter...

I'm sure a lot of us are aware that Linda Ikeji has been trending for few days now. A lot are happy and really inspired, yours truly included. Some others are envious while other people are hating and blabbing their mouths concerning her success, and are against her buying herself a house. Biko, is it because she is a woman? If it were a guy, will they give the same reasons why she shouldn't enjoy her money? I mean HER HARD EARNED MONEY. Nawa.

THurSDay TanTRuM!!!

It's another Tantrum Thursday. Hehehehe, I really don't have anything to vent about, I'm just thankful that I'm better now, all glory be to the Lord the healer.

Biko, the only thing I'm bothered about right now is the reckless driving amongst drivers in town. Please, what's the rush? You all should remember that it's better to be late than The LATE. There are lots of accidents and loss of lives this time around, it's becoming alarming. Take your time when driving, don't worry, you'll get to your destination in peace rather than in pieces.

Yes, there are some crazy drivers, the ones in Lagos are really high on something when driving. Make sure to scream at the top of your voices until they reduce the speed. None of us shall loose our lives in this season, Amen.

Anyways, do share with us the thing that has made you really angry this week.
Cheers.

Love of my life!!!

So, few days ago I was watching a movie, then an actor said "how do you know someone is the love of your life when you  are still living/alive?"  I pondered upon it for sometime and then came up with this question, who is qualified to be the love of your life? How do you even know that he/she is the one?

Looking at the high rate in divorces and married couples who are literally living single these days, I noticed that most of them had once termed their partners "love of my life". And then when the worst part of the vows sets in, you here things like "this isn't the man/woman I married".

I put this question on my BBM personal message, and a friend commented on it with this.
" You will have this inner peace in you, even if you guys drink only garri.. You can be yourself with him or her. Also, when he or she tells you or does things you desire to hear or experience that no one else has ever ever done to you.. Then you'll know he or she is the love of your life"

I kinda agree with her, but one thing is missing here. God's guidance!!! If God is not in with us here, we tend to be carried away by the "over love" and be blinded to some ugly signs which will later lead to regrets and "this isn't who I married" phrase.

We all need this to make the right choices in our relationships and marriages. Let God guide us to the part where "the love of our life" dwells. To the married ones, keep on praying for your partners, there are lots of temptations out there. A family that prays together, stays together, always remember that. Cheers.

Ps: Thanks a lot for your prayers and best wishes, it worked. I'm stronger and better now. Believe me, this sickness shook me no be small. A friend even started terming it spiritual attack cos she hasn't seen me this way before, hian! Lol. But God pass the sickness, I'm better now. Thanks a lot, and I love you all. E-hugs and kisses.

I speak...HEALING.

Yes, I declare VICTORY over all forms of sicknesses in our lives in Jesus name, Amen.
A victorious Sunday to you all, and hope your nights was splendid? Hope the Christians amongst us are going/went to church? Please try to attend and worship God in truth and in spirit, also pray for us that couldn't attend (Yours truly is at work). Jesus loves and always cares for you, take note of that.

In our little corners today, let us all pray for the sick ones all over the world, For by HIS stripes we are HEALED. Pray that the Lord should grant them hasty recovery. Amen.

Friday! Friday!! Friday!!!

Another Friday is here again. Yippee!!! Friday's are synonymous with fun and rest, the last day of the working week, a day waited upon like a miracle, so, here it is.

Most of us at work today spend a lot of time looking at the clock on a Friday than any other day, can I get a yes? Lolzz.

So, to all my party lovers, please, I beseech you, there are lots of other Fridays ahead. If you must drink, don't drive. I hate the current trend of accidents that's prevalent these past days. Many even coined it "ember months accidents". Please, party gently and be safe. Cheers to a beautiful weekend.

Thursday Tantrum!!!

"Rain rain go away come again another day, Pamela wants to wash!"

How are you all doing this rainy week? Do you like the downpour? Don't you like it? Well, as for me, I want it to stop biko, have clothes to wash.

You all know what today is right? Yes, it's Tantrum Thursday! So what is that thing that has pushed you to the wall this week? Vent it out here.

I've been really under the weather, ran some tests and found out it was malaria and typhoid. No wonder it hit me hard. I really don't like feeling this way, it makes me weak joor. And I hate being weak. I hate injections and drugs. You need to see the drama I acted in the hospital when I wanted to be injected. The nurse couldn't hold her laughter. My doctor is wicked shaa, see the plenty drugs he asked them to give me, nawa.

Anyways, I hope to be better soonest so that I'll get up from this bed.

Your turn?

RE: Is being female a crime?

This is from a blog reader who has something to share concerning a post of last week, (Is being female a crime? ). Read on-

Hi Pam, I just finished reading your post about being female.
You will agree with me that more than any other time in human history females have more freedom.

The truth is that as humanity advances it will get better.
I believe it has been like that based on the fact that women play a greater role in peservation of humanity than males.
... and the early humans, in other to preserve what makes us humans needed to "restrict" the female in order to preserve what makes the human higher than other animals (self control and morality).

That is my thinking, I may be wrong.
Also, there is the aspect of home. The success of any home is largely dependent on the woman.
You can have a man that has failed in all aspects of life including loss of values and morality who is married to a good woman. You will discover that the home will survive it but if the reverse is the case, the home is ruined.

Survival of the human race rests on the female and not on the male. I am not talking about donating sperm but about the very essence of humanity. Thanks.

Who agrees to this? Your thoughts biko, let's gist.

God is ever Present.

A pleasant Sunday to you all, and the Peace of the Lord be upon us all. Amen.
This weather is really dealing with me. What started with cough and catarrh ended up being something else. But, God pass the sickness. All in all, I'm thankful for life. Do dwell on the below.
